1. This website
screwit3d.com is a static website. Your language preference and your cookie choice are stored locally in your browser and never leave it. If you arrive from one of our ads, the address carries a short campaign label (for example src=gads-3d) and the ad click identifier; links to other pages of the website keep them in the address. The site passes the label to the checkout, so we can see which campaign a purchase came from — the label says nothing about you. The web server keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, requested page) for security purposes for up to 30 days.
1a. Measurement — only with your consent
When you first visit, a bar asks whether we may measure how the website is used. Nothing is loaded until you click Accept. If you accept, we use:
- Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) — which pages are visited, where visitors come from, clicks on Download and Buy. Cookies
_ga,_ga_*, up to 2 years. - Google Ads (Google Ireland Ltd.) — whether a visit from our ad ended with a purchase (order number and amount, no name or e-mail), so the ad is shown to the right people. Cookies
_gcl_*, up to 90 days. - Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Ireland Operations Ltd.) — a record of how the page is used: clicks, scrolling and mouse movement, and heat maps. Text you type is masked and not recorded. Cookies
_clck(1 year) and_clsk(1 day).
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Google and Microsoft may process the data in the USA under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. You can change your choice at any time via Cookie settings at the bottom of every page; rejecting deletes the measurement cookies.
2. Purchases
Checkout is provided by our authorised reseller acting as merchant of record. They collect the data needed to process the payment and issue the invoice (name, e-mail, country, payment details) under their own privacy policy. We receive your name, e-mail, order number and licence key so that we can deliver the product and provide support.
3. What the extension sends
The extension in SketchUp makes two kinds of request, and nothing else:
- Licence activation. When you activate a key, the extension sends the licence key and a non-personal identifier of the computer to our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, which verifies the key and counts activations (up to three computers per licence). Once a day the extension asks Lemon Squeezy whether the licence is still valid, with the same data, and it sends them again when you detach the licence from a computer.
- Version check. Once a day the extension asks our server for the number of the latest released version, so it can offer an update. It sends only its own version number — no key, no identifier, no personal data. The web server keeps the usual access log described in section 1.
Model contents, file names, drawings and usage statistics never leave your computer. Without a licence key the extension makes no activation requests at all.
4. Support e-mail
If you contact us, we keep the correspondence for as long as needed to resolve your request and to comply with legal obligations.
5. Your rights
Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data, or object to its processing, by writing to info@screwit3d.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your national data-protection authority.
6. Controller
The data controller is Karel Šorejs, Do čtvrti 1421/12, Modřany, 143 00 Praha 4, Czech Republic, company ID (IČO) 17321620.
