End-user licence agreement

Last updated: 3 October 2026

Summary: you buy a perpetual licence for one person on up to three computers, you may use it commercially, the licence covers version 1 of the Software with all its updates, and you may not redistribute the software or its key.

1. Parties and subject

This agreement is between you (the “Licensee”) and the operator of screwit3D (the “Licensor”, contact details in section 9). It governs the use of the screwit3D extension for SketchUp (the “Software”), including updates.

2. Grant of licence

Upon payment the Licensor grants you a perpetual, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the Software for one named user on up to three computers that you own or control. The licence covers personal and commercial use in your own projects.

3. Restrictions

4. Updates and support

The licence covers major version 1 of the Software, including every update released within it, with no time limit. Compatibility with the SketchUp releases stated at purchase (currently SketchUp 2019 to 2027, tested on 2025, 2026 and 2027) is maintained within that version at no extra cost. A future major version of the Software may be sold separately; existing licensees are offered upgrade pricing. Support is provided by e-mail on a best-effort basis.

5. Output

Geometry, components and reports the Software creates in your models belong to you. Hardware names and dimensions follow published DIN/ISO standards and are provided for modelling convenience; verify them against your supplier's catalogue before manufacturing.

6. Warranty and liability

The Software is provided “as is”. The Licensor does not warrant that it is error-free or fit for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, the Licensor's total liability is limited to the price you paid. This does not exclude liability that cannot be excluded under the law of your country, including consumer rights in the European Union.

7. Termination

The licence ends automatically if you breach section 3. You may end it at any time by uninstalling the Software and deleting all copies.

8. Payment and reseller

Prices are stated excluding VAT; the reseller adds the VAT that applies in your country at checkout. Purchases are processed by an authorised online reseller acting as merchant of record; their terms apply to the payment transaction, invoicing and tax. Refunds are described in the Refund policy.

9. Governing law and contact

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. Operator: Karel Šorejs, Do čtvrti 1421/12, Modřany, 143 00 Praha 4, Czech Republic, company ID (IČO) 17321620 · e-mail: info@screwit3d.com.

10. 3D model files

For downloadable 3D model files sold on screwit3d.com (for example the SI3DP screw set), the Licensor grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for personal, non-commercial use: you may view the files, modify them for your own use and print parts for your own use. You may not share, upload, publish, resell, rent or give away the files or modified versions of them, include them in another package or library, or sell printed parts or use them in products or services sold to others. A commercial licence is available on request. Printed parts depend on the printer, material and settings; you are responsible for checking that they suit your use. Sections 6, 8 and 9 apply to the files as well; the licence text in the package applies in addition.
