SketchUp 2019–2027 (Mac and Windows). Tested on SketchUp 2025, 2026 and 2027. screwit3D uses only the standard Ruby API and HtmlDialog. If anything misbehaves on your setup, send us the diagnostic log from the extension menu — we will fix it or refund you.

Download the .rbz package and in SketchUp choose Extensions → Extension Manager → Install Extension. It runs as the free version right away. After purchase, Lemon Squeezy e-mails you a licence key: open ⚙ Settings in the screwit3D panel, paste it into Activation code and press Activate. Activation needs the internet once; after that the extension works offline and checks the licence once a day when it can.

Everything the full version does, with two limits: at most 3 of each kind at a time in one model (bolt joints, wood screws, 3D-print joints, anchors, end caps, holes, stand-alone parts) — deleting one frees its slot — and sizes only ISO M4 and M12, ASME #8 and 1/2", 3D print (SI3DP) S6 and S12; wood screws the same, plus the 7 mm confirmat. Joints already in a model stay editable.

Yes to both. The whole extension is in English and Czech — including part names in the bill of materials — and dimensions can be shown in millimetres or inches; the measurement box accepts fractions like 1 1/2". Inch hardware follows ASME (UNC / UNF), metric follows ISO and DIN.

Your licence covers screwit3D version 1 and every update we release within it — no time limit, no subscription. A new SketchUp release does not cost you anything; we keep version 1 working with it. A paid upgrade only comes with a major new version of screwit3D itself, and 1.x owners get 40% off.

One licence is for one person on up to three computers. Moving to a new computer? Click Detach licence in ⚙ Settings on the old one and the slot is free again.

You can always find your key at app.lemonsqueezy.com/my-orders — enter the e-mail you paid with, you’ll get a sign-in link and see your order and key. On a computer where the full version already runs you don’t need the key (the extension remembers it) — it’s only needed for another computer. If you no longer have access to the purchase e-mail, write to us with the order number or your name and purchase date; we send keys only to the order e-mail, to another address only after verification.

Only two things: the licence key with an anonymous computer id when you activate, when it checks the licence once a day and when you detach it; and its own version number when it checks for updates. Your models never leave your computer. Details are in the privacy policy.

Yes. Holes and threads are cut into the component definition as native faces and edges; hardware is inserted as components with catalogue names. Nothing proprietary — the model stays fully editable and exportable without the extension.

If screwit3D is not right for you, ask for a refund within 14 days of purchase and we will return the full amount.
